05/01/04 -- Robbie can't score in the match against Leicester City in FA Cup 3rd round but he could help his team to score the second goal by open a corner kick & Anelka noded the ball into the net. The match ended 2 - 2. This week, Man City is going to face Charlton in Premier League on Wednesday at City of Manchester Stadium.
08/01/04 -- Robbie scored again!! It was his 3rd goal in the last 4 games. Last night ,in the match Man City VS Charlton , Robbie volleyed the ball into the net after Anelka weaved his magic around 4 Charlton defenders, he shot hard but the ball ricocheted off a flailing leg and into the path of Fowler. However, City drew 1-1. I hope in the next match against Portsmouth City can win the match & Robbie can score.
11/01/04 -- Robbie didn't score last game against Portsmouth & he got a yellow card in the 90th minute & City lost 2-4 . However, City has a hard work in the next match against Leicester City in FA Cup replay match on Wednesday.

17/01/04 -- Man City playing without Robbie on Wednesday in FA Cup because of his knee injury and Robbie may miss the next match against Blackburn Rovers on Saturaday too. However, Robbie hopes to play against Blackburn Rovers & his former manager Graeme Souness who gave him a debut on Liverpool's shirt.

From mcfc.co.uk -- "It is a massive match, very, very important, we all know that,"
"Graeme was the man who gave me my chance and I will always be indebted to him for that."
"Knowing Graeme as I do he will have his players fired up for this one. He will not be happy that they have slipped to where they are in the league."
"Any side managed by him will not give up but the result is of equal importance to us. We desperately need the points and if that means putting one over on my former boss then so be it."
"No mater what club I have been at I have always worked hard albeit at Liverpool it was probably hidden behind a lot of the goals that I did score."
" I have always been a player who doesn't mind grafting. I was brought here to score goals and I suppose I will always be judged on goals and even though overall I have been doing reasonably well it is still always nice to get goals."
"It is what I have always been judged on. The fans have obviously seen something else in my game in recent weeks and appreciated it and that is nice as well."
"I have been a City a year now and it has had its ups and downs. At first I found it hard to settle into the side but I feel good now and hopefully it will continue but it is all about the team getting winning results and that is what we are all concentrating on at the moment."

You can download his goals in the season 2000-2001 here All his goals in the season 2000-2001 are uploaded. Including the goals in 1997-1999, you can download them here -- 14/01/04

27/01/04 -- Robbie had recovered from his knee injury and played for 69 minutes in the FA Cup 4th round against Tottenham Hotspur & he nearly scored again but the ball hit left post and Nicolas Anelka scored from 5 yards. The match ended 1 - 1.
From mcfc.co.uk -- Michael Tarnat curled in a wonderful ball that Dunne nodded to Distin who in turn headed to Fowler who then hit the left post. Anelka was on the prowl and pounced from 5 yards out to knock the ball into the back of the net.
Next match, City is going to play against Arsenal again on Sunday.
30/01/04 -- Nicolas Anelka praises Robbie at www.mcfc.co.uk. This is what he said
From mcfc.co.uk -- "I think we are improving as a partnership and that Robbie feels better now and he is playing better and better every game."
"That is good for me and good for him. We are communicating well on the pitch. Robbie was in and out of the side but now he is in regularly and that helps."
"He is one of the best strikers there has been in the Premiership he has something like 180 or 190 goals which is a great record and he knew he could get back to his best. It is good for Manchester City."
"People think that taking penalties is easy. When you miss they say you should score and when you score they say 'oh it's easy'. I can tell them that it is not easy."
"There is pressure when you take penalties because they can sometimes decide a match and you have to practice them like any other part of your game."
03/02/04 -- Last game, City lost to arsenal again & Robbie had a chance to played only 14 minutes in the second half but I hope to see him play full time on this Wednesday against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup 4th round replay match.
05/02/04 -- 10-man of Man City can beat Tottenham Hotspur last night in the FA Cup 4th round replay match after Hotspur led 3 goals in the first-half & the match end 3 -4. Robbie played all the game & 7 points from The Sun. Next round , City is going to face Man United next weekend. Next game, on Sunday city is going to play against Birmingham City.
10/02/04 -- On sunday , City couldn't beat Birmingham City in Premier League & the match ended 0 - 0. However, next game City's going to play at anfield against Liverpool on this Wednesday before playing against Man United in FA Cup 5th round on Saturday at Old Trafford.
In the next 2 weeks, I am going to have final exam so you may not see the updating of this website until March 8,2004. If there are any interesting news of him , I will update it.
14/02/04 -- I don't have enough time to update this website while I have many things to tell you. First, Robbie scored from a free-kick in the 86th minute in the match against Man Utd in FA Cup on Valentine's Day. Second, in the end of this month you may not see this website because the limit of bandwidth of this site because I have only 20 MB of bandwidth per day (now you can download more than 30 MB /day so the problem occured, all the fault would be alleged to www.fcpages.com that allowed you to download more than 20 MB/day ) or 600MB/month now I have only about 190 MB left for this month. It would be better, if you all VOTE on the left-hand box, this will help me to manage the pages after exams.TD>
22/02/03 -- Robbie scored 3 goals in last two games. The last two goals are in the match Bolton V City on Saturday February 21. You will see more update next month.
From BBC -- Fowler was left totally unmarked and had time to pick his spot before heading home Tarnat's corner.
And Fowler then put Keegan's team in the lead with a superb individual goal.
The 28-year-old controlled James' long punt forward with his chest before smashing home past Jussi Jaaskelainen.
From mcfc.co.uk -- Tarnat whipped in a fierce corner ball and Robbie Fowler sent in a bullet header that the keeper had no chance of stopping. The Bolton manager must have been furious that nobody had picked him up.
Robbie Fowler couldn't contain himself when he latched onto a long clearance from James; he appeared to be in an offside position but took the ball into the area and fired a rocket of a shot past a hapless Jaaskelainen. City had taken the lead and the travelling support was jubilant.

This is Robbie's interview from MCFC -- Robbie Fowler says that the manager should not be shouldering the blame for City's recent run.
The striker has called on his team mates to stand up and be counted and show that they are capable of hauling the Blues clear of the basement of the Premiership.
The recent run which has seen City go fourteen Premiership matches without a win is down to the team, stresses the former England hitman.
"I think that the criticism that the manager has come under is very unfair," said the twenty-eight-year-old who worked with Kevin Keegan in the England set up.
"He is picking eleven players and those players should be going out and getting good results against anyone."
"I think the way results have gone is not Kevin Keegan's fault but the fault of the players."
"It always happens when clubs find themselves in a position like ours that the manager gets some stick."
"It doesn't just happen here but at every club and the problem lies with the players and not the manager."
"He is the type of man who prefers to take the stick for the players. Some players can't take criticism in the paper and I think because of that Kevin takes the flack on board himself."

Now there is no bandwidth left for my website in this month so from today you may not be able to see mt site until March. It would be better, if you all VOTE on the left-hand box, this will help me to manage the pages after exams.

10/03/04 -- Man City didn't have a match for 2 weeks. On this Sunday, you will see Robbie playing again in the Manchester derby match at City of Manchester Stadium. I hope City see Robbie score & City also win the match.
15/03/04 -- Man City beat man Utd. 4-1 at City of Manchester and Robbie also scored. He scored the first goal in the 3rd minute.
From The Sun -- Robbie Fowler's sixth goal in 10 games and Jonathan Macken's first ever Premiership strike defied United's greater share of possession int he first period.
Fowler said: "We?ve been quite unlucky of late but we had a bit today - they hit the bar twice.
"But I think we deserved the win. It was important we got the result - to win a derby 4-1 is just fantastic. It was a great result and a great performance."
He added: "It was nice to get off to a flyer.
"In the past we?ve been slow to get into games but to go 1-0 up in a derby inside three minutes is nice.
"We were 2-1 up at half-time and even though they had some good players out you know they are a very, very good side and they always attack teams.
"They were unfortunate not to get in the game but we weathered storm and scored two good goals in the second-half."
Now seemingly susceptible to any crossed ball, United twice came off worst in one-on-one battles as Antoine Sibierski beat Wes Brown to Richard Dunne?s long throw and Fowler, who never wastes any opportunity to remind the Red Devils they have won only two European Cups to his old side?s four, produced two deft touches, first to touch the flick-on away from Phil Neville, then to prod it past Tim Howard.
From mcfc.co.uk -- Richard Dunne's long throw into the area was headed on by Antoine Sibierski and the striker took two touches to find the net rounding the hapless Phil Neville just six yards out.

Latest, you can see & download Robbie Fowler wallpaper in the match against Manchester United at MCFC.co.uk . On Monday, Robbie will played against his former club, Leeds United, again.
28/03/04 -- Man City lost again in the match again Leeds on Monday night match and got only a point in the match at home draw 0-0 against Fulham. Robbie had about 2 chances to score for the Blues & he was substituted in the 64th minute. I hope we will see his goals in next match before his birthday.
03/04/04 -- On Sunday, Robbie is going to meet his former boss, David O'Leary, who now is a manager of Aston Villa. Robbie likes to score at Villa Park esp. against Aston Villa. There are also his interviews before Sunday's game.
04/04/04 -- There were only 23 minutes in the 2nd half for Robbie to play against Aston Villa so there was no goal from him. However, City got 1 goal in the 82nd mintue and they drew 1 - 1.

So now you can see the full table of the goals he scored for Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester City and England national team. And you will see the updating at his Pictures page soon.
You may see his new wallpaper, when Robbie scores his 200th goal in career.
11/04/04 -- There is no goal for his birthday present as City drew the match 3 - 3 at City of Manchester Stadium against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Robbie had atleast 2 efforts in scoring for City but them all were saved by Paul Jones. The trird goal of City came in the 90 minute by Shaun Wright Phillips. This only one point is very important to City's status in Premier League.
From MCFC.co.uk -- City had a wonderful effort with 13 minutes gone, Fowler received a clever ball in from McManaman and the striker un leashed an excellent left foot drive that Jones did well to hold.
Fowler could have grabbed a goal right on the 60-minute mark, when McManaman sent him through on goal and with only the keeper to beat he lashed his shot over the bar.
With only three minutes of normal time left City was reduced to sending in the long ball and the policy wasn't looking as if it was going to find the much needed equalizer.
With a last gasp effort Shaun Wright Phillips popped up to slam in City's third to rescue a draw from the jaws of defeat.
From The Sun -- Camara nodded a good chance over and Paul Jones produced an excellent one-handed save to deny Robbie Fowler before Kennedy broke the deadlock on 13 minutes.
18/04/04 -- There was only one point for City in their last two games with no Robbie's goal. Drew against Tottenham Hotspur and lost to Southampton in the critical time, now City is the 17th of the table with only 2 points ahead of Leeds United.

04/05/04 -- Robbie didn't play in the last 2 games for Man City. Yesterday I heard that the board of Manchester City agreed to sell him at the end of the season.

From www.tribalfootball.com -- Manchester City are inviting offers for striker Robbie Fowler.

The Sunday Express says the City board have agreed to offload the ex-Liverpool star at the end of the season because they cannot afford his ?50,000-a-week wages.

Fowler has struggled since his move to City last season and is likely to be forced to take a wage-cut to stay in the Premiership.

10/05/04 -- Again Robbie didn't play on Saturday against Middlesbrough because of his back injury in training. There is one more game left this season. Match against Eveton next week is the last game of the season for City.
15/04/04 -- Robbie has recovered from his back injury and he is ready for the final game against Everton tomorrow. And on Monday 17, Robbie will play in Martin Keown's testimonial at Highbury. There is also his news on The Sun.

KEVIN KEEGAN will stand by his Manchester City flops despite battling against relegation.
The City boss has released veterans Danny Tiatto, Gerard Wiekens and Michael Tarnat, who are out of contract with the club.
But he insists other underachievers in his ?50million squad like Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman, Paul Bosvelt and Nicolas Anelka will all stay.
And despite standing just one place and five points above the drop zone, Keegan believes his current squad will bounce back next season.
He said: ?I don?t see why we need to change too much here. We are capable of being successful with this group of players, with an addition here or there.?

19/05/04 -- The season 2003-2004 ended with 10 Robbie's goals. Robbie didn't play for City in the fanal match at City of Manchester stadium against Everton. Some newspaper reported Robbie may be swopped with Andy Cole of Blackburn Rovers.
03/06/04 -- Although the season has ended , there are still the news on Robbie. First, Robbie donated his signed boots to an auction to be held by a Wirral based charity. Sencond, Robbie cradled two babies wearing City shirts on the opening of the £1m Olivia Lodge complex at Clayton, east Manchester. This place will support troubled young mothers and their babies to deal with the pressures and problems involved in raising a child.
21/06/04 -- The Manchester City Evening News says Ewood Park boss Graeme Souness is thought to be keen to trade Andy Cole for Robbie Fowler.
There has been no official approach yet from the East Lancashire side who have just purchased former Blues favourite Paul Dickov but whispers around Blackburn have been growing louder over the last few days.
Fowler enjoyed his best days under Graeme Souness at Liverpool, while City boss Kevin Keegan has always been a big fan of Cole since signing him at Newcastle United.
06/08/04 -- Next weekend, the season 2004-2005 will start. There is also Robbie Fowler's interview from Manchester Online about his future. You can read it here
15/08/04 -- The season 2004 - 2005 began yesterday, Robbie started his first match very well with one goal in the 28th minute in a 1 - 1 draw against Fulham at City of Manchester Stadium.

From The Sun -- But City eventually got the goal their attacking play deserved when Fowler struck.
Mills? long throw was flicked on in the box by Antoine Sibierski and Fowler had plenty to do with the ball dropping over his head.
But he managed to execute a hook shot over his shoulder that soared into the top corner with Edwin Van der Sar clutching thin air.

From BBC -- It set the tone for a bright City display in the opening 45 minutes and they took a deserved lead through Fowler after 28 minutes.
Danny Mills' long throw was headed on by Sibierski and Fowler lifted a left-foot finish high past Van der Sar.
Fulham had their new strike force of Cole and Radzinski on show, but they barely had a kick as City dominated.
But in a rare attack, Fulham snatched an undeserved equaliser after 55 minutes.

31/08/04 -- There is only a goal from Robbie in the first four games of the new season but he played every game and not only 70 minutes but he plays full-time. After the match City beat Charlton 4-0 on Saturday, Robbie interviewed about a relationship between him and Nicolas Anelka. (Robbie didn't score but he set up the ball to Anelka to shot the 1st goal for City)

The Mirror -- "We don't go out and socialise a lot together, but Nicolas is a great player and I'm not a bad player.
"We all know Nicolas is a very good player who does score a lot of goals and I think he needs someone to keep talking to him all the time and I try to do that.
"It is hard but we can get better and I think we have made strides. When I first came we didn't talk a lot together on the pitch or mix together that much on the pitch, but I think we're getting there. I think we can get a few more goals between us this season and it is looking promising."
Fowler aims to hit old heights

From BBC -- Arjan De Zeeuw was booked for tugging back Fowler and almost paid double when the former Liverpool striker escaped his marker at the resulting free-kick and planted his header into the side-netting.

Ashdown kept his side alive when he launched himself to his left to tip away Fowler's full-blooded drive.

Ashdown was again the winner as Fowler let rip with a full-blooded drive but for all their superiority City again escaped as a corner dropped for De Zeeuw, prompting a manic scramble before the ball was hacked clear.

City struck back with a flash of the old Robbie Fowler converting with a right foot blast from close range in the thirty ninth minute.

Stephen Jordan played the ball in from deep on the left hand side and on the edge of the area Jon Macken headed the ball into the area.

City's first opportunity fell to Fowler, who controlled Antoine Sibierski's far-post cross, but the striker hesitated, allowing Bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen to claim the ball.

Fowler came closer to breaking the deadlock a few minutes later when he latched onto Sibierski's cushioned lay-off to test Jaaskelainen with a fierce first-time shot.

City's attacking verve was rewarded soon after.

Fowler rose to flick the ball forward to Anelka, who tracked across the Bolton goal and past the advancing Jaaskelainen to find Barton, who stroked the ball into the bottom corner
